Q: What makes the Cerises Keepall 45 special?
A: This is a limited edition from Spring/Summer 2005 created with artist Takashi Murakami. The smiling cherry motif is silk‑screened over classic Monogram canvas, making the piece instantly recognisable and highly collectible.

Q: Is the Keepall 45 cabin‑friendly?
A: Yes, at approximately 45 × 25 × 20 cm it typically complies with most airlines’ carry‑on limits. Policies vary by airline and route, so please confirm with your carrier before travelling.

Q: Does this model have a shoulder strap?
A: This is the classic handheld Keepall 45 with dual rolled leather handles. Bandoulière versions include a detachable strap and side D‑rings; this piece does not.

Q: What does the date code TH0025 mean?
A: TH indicates manufacture in France. The numbers denote month and year in the pre‑2007 format, so 0025 corresponds to February 2005.

Q: How durable is the cherry print?
A: The cherries are silk‑screened onto coated canvas, which is robust for daily use. Like all printed finishes, it can show rubbing on high‑friction areas over time, so avoid abrasive surfaces and harsh cleaners.

Q: What is the lining and interior layout?
A: The interior is brown textile with an open main compartment. This style typically has no interior pockets, prioritising flexible packing space.

Q: What fits inside a Keepall 45?
A: It suits an overnight to light weekend: 1–2 outfits, shoes, a toiletry bag, small electronics and travel documents. Packing cubes or pouches help organise smaller items.

Q: How should I care for the vachetta leather?
A: Vachetta is untreated and will naturally develop a patina. Keep it away from rain and liquids, handle with clean hands, and store the bag lightly stuffed in a cool, dry place in a breathable dust bag. Avoid oils, alcohol‑based wipes and prolonged sunlight.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This specific piece is listed as sold without accessories. If an item such as a padlock, keys, luggage tag or dust bag is not stated under Accessories, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes a multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, examining materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and date codes. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and are happy to provide additional details on request.
