Q: What typically fits inside the Discovery Bumbag PM?
A: Expect room for daily essentials: a large smartphone (including most Pro/Max models), a compact wallet or cardholder, keys, AirPods, passport, and small items like lipstick or hand sanitiser. Slim sunglasses in a soft sleeve usually fit. Continental (long) wallets, iPad mini/tablets and water bottles generally do not. Please refer to the Measurements on this page or contact us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody, on the waist or slung across the chest?
A: Yes—its adjustable canvas strap allows multiple carries: around the waist, crossbody, or across the chest/back. We list strap measurements in the Measurements section; if anything is missing, just ask and we’ll confirm how this item sits on you.

Q: How secure is the closure and what pockets does it have?
A: The Discovery Bumbag features a zip-top main compartment for good everyday security and a rear zipped pocket ideal for valuables like cards or a passport. Our listing photos show the exact configuration of this piece.

Q: What materials and finish does this limited edition have?
A: This item is crafted in Damier Graphite coated canvas with black leather trim, a multicoloured (rainbow) LV logo, black-tone hardware and a black textile lining. The description and photos in our listing show the precise details and finish of this piece.

Q: Is it water-resistant, and how should I care for it?
A: Coated canvas offers good everyday resistance to light moisture, but the bag is not waterproof. Avoid heavy rain and prolonged exposure to water. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth; keep leather trim away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight, and be mindful of potential colour transfer from dark denim. Store lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag to help maintain shape.

Q: Will my iPhone Pro/Max fit?
A: Most Pro/Max phones fit comfortably. Very bulky cases may make the fit snug. For certainty, compare your device’s dimensions with the Measurements provided or ask us to perform a quick fit check for this exact item.

Q: Is this Rainbow Logo edition still produced?
A: The Rainbow Logo Discovery Bumbag is a limited edition and is generally discontinued. The pre-loved market is the best way to find this specific configuration.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located, and what does MI4109 mean?
A: Louis Vuitton bags feature an interior heat-stamp (e.g., “LOUIS VUITTON Paris” and country of origin). Pre‑2021 pieces typically include a date code on a small leather tab or along an interior seam. For this item, MI4109 indicates production in France (MI) in the 40th week of 2019. Placement can vary—contact us if you’d like close‑up photos of the stamp and code.

Q: Is the Discovery Bumbag unisex?
A: Yes—its minimalist silhouette and adjustable strap make it a versatile, gender‑neutral style, suitable for waist, crossbody or chest/back carry.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Accessories for this item are listed under “Accessories”; this piece shows no accessories included. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, date code/microchip and overall construction.
