Louis VuittonMini Lin Keepall 45 Bandoulière Weekend Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Keepall 45 Bandoulière?
A: With approximate measurements of 46 × 26 × 19 cm, this is a practical overnight or weekend size. It will usually fit a couple of outfits, a toiletry pouch, chargers, a pair of flats or slim shoes, and other daily essentials. As it is a soft-sided bag, capacity can vary depending on how you pack.

Q: Is the Keepall 45 generally suitable as cabin luggage?
A: Yes. The Keepall 45 size is widely regarded as cabin-friendly, and Louis Vuitton describes this size as suitable for cabin use. That said, airline rules can vary, so it is always best to check your specific carrier’s baggage allowance before travelling.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This Bandoulière version includes a detachable shoulder strap, and this specific bag has an approximate strap drop of 50 cm. It can be carried by hand using the dual rolled handles or worn on the shoulder; cross-body fit will depend on your height, frame, and how full the bag is.

Q: What is Mini Lin canvas?
A: Mini Lin is a lighter, softer Louis Vuitton canvas with a more textile-like feel than classic coated canvas. It is commonly described as a cotton, linen, and polyamide blend, and it became known later as Monogram Idylle. It is a popular choice for those who prefer a more understated and lightweight travel bag.

Q: Does Mini Lin keep its shape well?
A: Mini Lin is softer and more relaxed than coated canvas, so it can slouch a little when empty and may show shape changes more easily if not filled. Many buyers like this because it gives the bag an easy, casual look, and Keepall bags are also known for being easier to store flat when not in use.

Q: What does the date code DU1141 mean?
A: The date code DU1141 indicates production in France during the 14th week of 2011. Date codes are useful for dating a bag, but they should not be used on their own as proof of authenticity.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This specific bag includes a detachable shoulder strap, luggage tag, padlock, and keys. Everything included with the item is shown in the product information on this page.

Q: How should I care for Mini Lin canvas and the leather trim?
A: To help preserve the bag, avoid overfilling it, direct sunlight, excess heat, and damp conditions. For light surface marks, use a soft, light-coloured cloth slightly dampened with water. Avoid solvents, alcohol-based cleaners, oils, lotions, or harsh chemicals, and store the bag in a breathable dust bag or felt pouch when not in use.

Q: What is the condition of this specific bag?
A: This piece is rated Very Good overall, with light traces of use to the exterior and interior. The hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear.
