Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Multipli-Cite?
A: This shoulder bag is designed with practicality in mind. Its main compartment is spacious enough to hold daily essentials such as a large smartphone, a continental wallet, a cosmetics pouch, keys and a compact umbrella. It can also accommodate a tablet or e-reader. While many Multipli-Cite models fit A4 documents, the width of this specific piece is listed as 31 cm, which may be a snug fit for larger files or laptops; we recommend checking your device’s dimensions against the measurements provided.

Q: Are the shoulder straps adjustable?
A: Yes, the bag features dual flat Vachetta leather straps that can be adjusted via the gold-tone buckles. The current strap drop is listed as approximately 16 cm, which is suitable for hand or crook-of-arm carry, but the straps can typically be lengthened to sit more comfortably on the shoulder.

Q: What exterior pockets does this bag have?
A: The Multipli-Cite is famous for its utility-inspired design, featuring two distinctive flap pockets on the front. These are secured with snaps and are perfect for storing items you need quick access to, such as a phone, travel pass or keys.

Q: Is the closure secure?
A: Yes, the main compartment features a secure zip-top closure, ensuring your belongings stay safe while commuting or travelling.

Q: What is the interior lining made of?
A: The interior is lined in Louis Vuitton’s signature red Alcantara (microfibre), a soft and durable material that protects your belongings. Inside, you will also find slip pockets for organising smaller items.

Q: What is the condition of the Vachetta leather?
A: As a vintage piece, the natural Vachetta leather trim and straps have developed a visible honey patina. There are some signs of wear, including watermarks and scuffing on the trim and strap, which is normal for a pre-loved item of this age and adds to its vintage character.

Q: When was this bag produced?
A: This specific bag bears the date code FL1024, indicating that it was manufactured in France in December 2004.
