Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Wilshire PM Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 31 x 17.5 x 11 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, small wallet, keys, sunglasses and a few cosmetic items. It is a compact PM size, so it is not ideal for larger tablets, water bottles or bulky pouches. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the final size reference.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: This model has dual flat handles with an approximate 11.5 cm handle drop, so it is usually carried by hand or in the crook of the arm. Some wearers may manage it over the shoulder with very light layers, but it is not generally considered a true shoulder bag.

Q: What is Monogram Vernis leather?
A: Monogram Vernis is Louis Vuitton leather with the Monogram pattern embossed into a glossy finish. It gives the bag a polished, structured look and a more dressed-up feel than classic canvas.

Q: Is Vernis leather durable?
A: Vernis is fairly durable for careful day-to-day use, but its glossy finish can show minor scratches, pressure marks and colour transfer more easily than textured leather. This is especially worth keeping in mind when buying vintage or pre-owned pieces.

Q: How should I care for this bag?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid harsh cleaners, and do not overfill it. For storage, keep it in a breathable dust bag or cotton pillowcase in a cool, ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity to help preserve the shape and finish.

Q: Does Vernis leather get colour transfer?
A: It can. Dark denim, magazines, coated leathers and other strongly dyed materials may transfer pigment onto the glossy surface. To reduce the risk, avoid rubbing it against dark clothing and store it away from items that may bleed colour.

Q: How is the bag organised inside?
A: This Wilshire PM has a tonal lining with one internal pocket, making it easy to separate smaller essentials from the main compartment. The silhouette is compact and structured, so it works best when packed neatly rather than overfilled.

Q: Does the bag close fully?
A: This style is designed with an open top and central clasp rather than a full zip. It offers quick access to your belongings, but it is a little less secure than a zipped tote, so it is best kept upright and not overpacked.

Q: What is the condition of this specific item?
A: The condition is listed as Very Good, with light traces of use, some minor scratches, marks inside, and shiny hardware with light scratches. As with most vintage Vernis pieces, small signs of wear are normal and part of the bag's pre-owned character.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: The product information for this specific listing states that no additional items are included. If you would like confirmation before purchase, feel free to contact the store.
