Q: What are the measurements and what fits inside?
A: This Small Galleria measures approximately 30 × 20 × 12 cm (W × H × D) with an 11 cm handle drop. It comfortably fits a long wallet, smartphone, keys, sunglasses case, a small cosmetics pouch and an iPad or similar small tablet. A4 documents and most 13-inch laptops do not fit in this size.

Q: Does this piece come with a shoulder strap?
A: This specific item does not include a strap; the accessories listed are an authenticity card and a clochette. Many Small Galleria models were produced with detachable straps, but if a strap isn’t listed under Accessories, it isn’t included with this item.

Q: How is the interior organised?
A: The Galleria’s signature layout features three main compartments: two secure zip sections and an open central section, lined in tonal jacquard. This helps keep valuables separate from quick‑access essentials.

Q: Is Saffiano leather durable and weather‑resistant?
A: Yes. Prada’s Saffiano leather has a cross‑hatch texture with a waxed finish that is known for its scratch and water resistance. It is robust for daily use, but it isn’t fully waterproof—avoid heavy rain and prolonged moisture.

Q: How should I care for this vintage Saffiano leather bag?
A: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid alcohol‑ or oil‑based products. Store loosely stuffed in a breathable dust bag away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve structure and colour. Do not overfill the bag. For deeper cleaning, use a cleaner formulated for coated leathers or consult a professional.

Q: How much does the Small Galleria weigh?
A: Weight can vary slightly by production year and hardware. As a structured top‑handle, it is considered reasonably light for its size. If you’d like the precise weight of this piece, contact us and we’ll confirm.

Q: Is this size suitable for work and daily use?
A: Absolutely. The structured silhouette and compartmentalised interior make it ideal for everyday essentials and office basics. If you regularly carry A4 documents or a laptop, you may prefer the Medium or Large Galleria.

Q: Can it be worn crossbody?
A: Only with a compatible strap and if the bag has the original side D‑rings. As this listing does not include a strap, please review the photos or contact us to confirm strap compatibility for this exact piece.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is vetted by our specialists using multi‑point checks of leather, stitching, hardware, plaques, and interior tags. This vintage piece includes an authenticity card. Newer Prada bags may also include an embedded NFC tag; earlier pieces may not. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.

Q: Where is it made?
A: The country of origin label states Italy.
