Q: Is this Tiffany & Co. Return to Tiffany Full Heart Earrings pair authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What are they made from? Are they solid silver or plated?
A: They are crafted in solid sterling silver (925) from Tiffany’s Return to Tiffany collection; they are not silver‑plated fashion jewellery. The hearts are three‑dimensional with a highly polished finish.

Q: What are the measurements and how will they look when worn?
A: Approximate measurements are 3 cm (height) × 2.5 cm (width) × 0.3 cm (depth). On the ear they read as a small‑to‑medium statement heart with a smooth, rounded profile. If you’d like the precise gram weight or an on‑ear photo for scale, message us and we’ll provide it.

Q: How do they fasten and are they secure?
A: They feature a hinged post closure. Always ensure the latch clicks fully closed before wear. We recommend removing earrings before sleeping or during high‑impact activities to avoid bending posts or stressing piercings.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears? Are they nickel‑free?
A: Tiffany sterling silver is predominantly silver alloyed with other metals (commonly copper). Many people with sensitive ears wear sterling silver comfortably, but sensitivities vary. If irritation occurs, discontinue wear and consult a professional.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish? How should I clean and store them?
A: Yes—sterling silver can tarnish with exposure to air, humidity and substances containing sulphur. After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For a deeper clean, use mild soap with lukewarm water or a specialist silver jewellery cleaner, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive polishes, chemical dips and ultrasonic cleaners unless specifically advised. Store them individually in a pouch or box, away from moisture and cosmetics.

Q: Can I wear them in the shower, swimming or to the gym?
A: Tiffany advises removing jewellery before showering or bathing, swimming in pools or the sea, exercising, and before applying lotions, hair products or perfume. Keeping them dry helps minimise tarnish and preserves the finish.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect on Tiffany sterling silver earrings?
A: You can typically expect a Tiffany & Co. maker’s mark and a fineness stamp such as 925. Placement and format vary by model and production year; please refer to our close‑up photos to view the specific stamps on this pair.

Q: Can Tiffany supply a replacement back or a single earring if one is lost?
A: Tiffany boutiques and Client Care can often supply replacement earring backs and, depending on the design and availability, may replace a single lost earring. Contact your local store or Client Care for current options, availability and quotes.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This vintage pair is in Very Good Condition with light signs of use unless noted otherwise. This listing includes no accessories unless specifically shown or stated. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and return the item in the same condition received.
