Q: What are the measurements and how do they sit on the ear?
A: The earrings measure approximately 2 cm high, 0.5 cm wide and 0.2 cm deep. The refined infinity motif sits vertically with a slim profile; please review the photos for scale and styling ideas.

Q: What are they made from and are they hallmarked?
A: They are crafted in sterling silver (.925). Authentic Tiffany pieces are typically stamped with Tiffany & Co. and a fineness mark such as 925; on earrings this may appear on the back, post or ear nut depending on the design and production year.

Q: Are the posts suitable for sensitive ears?
A: Sterling silver is generally well tolerated, but highly sensitive wearers can react to the small alloy portion in sterling. If you have a known nickel allergy, opt for nickel‑free options or precious metals like 18k gold or platinum posts. Discontinue wear if irritation occurs and seek professional advice if needed.

Q: What closure do these earrings have?
A: A secure post with clip‑back (omega) closure for pierced ears, designed to hold the earring comfortably and close to the lobe.

Q: What does the Infinity motif symbolise at Tiffany?
A: Tiffany describes the Infinity motif as a symbol of continuous connection, energy and vitality—an elegant signifier of enduring bonds.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish and how can I minimise it?
A: Yes, silver naturally oxidises over time. Store the earrings in an anti‑tarnish pouch, keep them dry, avoid perfume, lotions and chlorinated water, remove before exercising, and wipe with a soft cloth after wear to slow tarnish.

Q: How should I clean them at home?
A: Gently polish with a quality silver cloth. For a deeper clean, wash in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach and ultrasonic machines on silver without expert guidance. For heavy tarnish, ask a professional to polish.

Q: Can Tiffany & Co. service vintage sterling silver earrings?
A: Tiffany & Co. offers cleaning and repair services for their jewellery; a boutique can advise on what is possible for vintage items. Many skilled jewellers can also professionally polish sterling silver, though deep scratches may not be fully removable.
