Q: What are the measurements of these earrings?
A: This pair is listed at approximately 8.1 × 2 × 1.2 cm (height × width × depth). Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate figures for this specific item.

Q: Are Tiffany HardWear Graduated Link Earrings heavy to wear?
A: They are solid sterling silver statement drops with a pleasing weight. Tiffany describes HardWear earrings as designed to be comfortable and easy to wear, but sensitivity varies by wearer. If you have delicate lobes, consider using larger support backs or silicone discs for added comfort during long wear.

Q: What type of fastening do they have and are they for pierced ears?
A: They feature a post-back closure for pierced ears. Standard butterfly backs are used; if you prefer extra support, wide-disc backs can be fitted by most jewellers.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish and how should I care for these?
A: Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time, especially with exposure to humidity, perfume, lotions, chlorine or sulphur. To maintain their shine, wipe after each wear with a soft, non-abrasive cloth, store them dry in an anti-tarnish pouch, and clean occasionally with a quality silver cleaner, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid chlorine and bleach, and put jewellery on last after skincare or hair products.

Q: Are they hypoallergenic or nickel-free?
A: Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver alloyed with 7.5% other metals, typically copper rather than nickel. Most people with nickel sensitivity find sterling silver comfortable, but reactions can vary. If you are highly sensitive, test wear briefly at home or consult a jeweller about protective barrier options.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect on authentic Tiffany sterling silver earrings?
A: Authentic Tiffany pieces typically carry clear, well-aligned stamps indicating the brand and metal purity, such as “T&Co.” and “925”. Stamp placement can vary by design and era. As this is a pre-owned piece, light wear to stamps is possible but they should remain legible.

Q: Can Tiffany service or polish these earrings?
A: Yes. Tiffany offers professional cleaning and polishing services, and most boutiques provide complimentary in-store cleanings subject to availability. Any deep refinishing or repairs can be requested through their Care & Repair services or handled by a trusted specialist jeweller.

Q: Are these suitable for everyday wear?
A: The Graduated Link design makes a bold, elongated drop that many wear comfortably for day or evening. For daily use, avoid contact with water, fragrances and lotions, and store them individually to prevent scratches. If you prefer a lighter feel for all-day wear, consider using support backs to distribute the weight.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This listing states no accessories. Everything included is always detailed under the Accessories section on this page; if an item such as a box or pouch is not listed there, it is not included.
