Q: What typically fits inside the Mini The Pouch?
A: Despite its compact size, it comfortably carries small essentials such as a cardholder, keys, lipstick and compact. Slim smartphones may fit depending on their size and case; the structured magnetic frame narrows the opening, so avoid overfilling to protect the leather and closure. Our item measures approximately 22 × 10 × 7 cm. Some owners report fitting standard-sized iPhones and, in certain cases, larger models without bulky cases. Please compare your device to the measurements and opening before use.

Q: Can it be worn crossbody, and is the strap adjustable?
A: Yes, the Mini is the Pouch variant designed to be worn crossbody thanks to its slim leather shoulder strap. The strap has no buckle adjustment or hardware removal; many owners shorten it by tying a neat internal knot, and it can be tucked inside to carry the bag as a clutch.

Q: Will an iPhone fit in this Mini?
A: It depends on the exact model and case. Guides note the Mini can accommodate phones around the size of an iPhone 11 Pro, while some users have fitted larger models like the iPhone 12 Pro Max without a bulky case. Because the frame opening is structured, taller or thicker phones may be a tight fit. If your handset is about 15–16 cm long and slim, it may fit snugly; larger “Max/Plus” phones often require removing thick cases.

Q: How secure is the magnetic frame closure?
A: The Mini uses a concealed magnetic frame that snaps shut to keep contents in place during normal use. Very bulky items or overfilling can compromise closure. As with any magnetic clasp, avoid placing the magnetic stripe of older cards directly against the frame and keep sensitive items away as a precaution.

Q: How should I care for the leather?
A: The Pouch is crafted from supple, smooth leather. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use, avoid contact with moisture, oils and colour‑transfer (for example from dark denim), and do not overfill to prevent creasing. Store lightly stuffed in its dust bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For deep cleaning or repairs, consult a professional leather care specialist rather than using household products.

Q: Does it have internal pockets?
A: No, the Mini The Pouch has a single main compartment lined in leather without internal pockets, in keeping with the minimalist design.

Q: What is the strap drop on this specific item and how will it sit?
A: On this piece the strap drop is approximately 53 cm. On most frames this wears as a crossbody sitting around the high‑hip to waist; exact placement varies by height and build. The strap can be tucked in for handheld or shoulder‑carry styling.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Please refer to the product information section on this page. For this piece, a dust bag is included. If something isn’t listed there, it is not included.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, who examine materials, stitching, stamps, hardware, and construction details. We stand behind the authenticity of all items and are happy to provide additional photos or information on request.
