Q: Is this Cartier d'Amour Bracelet authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What materials is it made from? Is it solid gold?
A: This bracelet is crafted from 18k rose gold (often referred to as pink gold by Cartier) and features a single brilliant‑cut diamond. It is solid gold, not plated. Please review the features and close‑up photos for confirmation of hallmarks.

Q: Is this the same as the “Diamants Légers” collection?
A: Yes. Cartier renamed the “Diamants Légers de Cartier” collection to “Cartier d'Amour.” The design remains the same: a minimalist, bezel‑set diamond on a delicate chain.

Q: How big is the diamond and the motif?
A: This is the Mini model (formerly XS). It features a diamond of approximately 0.04 carats. The total diameter of the motif is approximately 3.8 mm. It is an extremely fine and dainty piece, designed to look like a subtle point of light on the wrist.

Q: Is the chain adjustable? Will it fit my wrist?
A: The bracelet features a lobster clasp and typically includes adjustment rings to be worn at different lengths. This specific piece is listed as fitting a wrist of 18 cm or smaller. We recommend measuring your wrist to ensure a comfortable fit.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while sleeping?
A: Yes. Because it is made of solid 18k gold and diamonds, it is durable enough for daily wear, including showering and sleeping. However, to maintain its shine and prevent soap buildup or accidental snagging, many owners prefer to remove it before heavy activity.

Q: Does the diamond flip over while wearing it?
A: The bezel setting is designed to sit flat, but due to the lightweight nature of the Mini model, the motif may move or flip occasionally during wear. This is a common characteristic of the design.

Q: How should I care for the rose gold and diamond?
A: You can clean the bracelet gently with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush (like a baby toothbrush) to remove lotions or oils from the diamond. Dry with a soft microfibre cloth. Store it in its box when not in use to prevent the fine chain from tangling.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This bracelet is in Very Good Condition, meaning it shows minimal signs of wear. It includes the original box. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions.
