Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel CC Cambon Wallet on Chain? A: This compact Wallet on Chain is best for essentials such as a phone, cards, folded notes, lipstick and slim keys. With measurements of approximately 19 x 13 x 4 cm, it works well as a day-to-evening piece, but it is not designed for bulkier items like large purses, sunglasses cases or oversized key fobs.
Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody? A: Yes. The leather and chain-link strap gives it the hands-free versatility that Chanel Wallet on Chain styles are known for. The listed strap measurement is approximately 64 cm, so it can suit shoulder or crossbody wear depending on your height and preferred fit.
Q: How is the interior organised? A: This piece is designed to combine the function of a wallet with the look of a small bag. According to the product information, it has a pink CC fabric lining with card slots and a zip pocket, making it practical for carrying cards, cash and a few small essentials without needing a separate wallet.
Q: What materials and details define this Cambon style? A: This vintage Chanel features black quilted leather, a patent CC logo, silver-tone hardware, a leather and chain-link strap and a flap closure. The contrast between the black exterior and pink lining is a signature detail often associated with the Cambon line.
Q: What is the condition of this item? A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior shows a light trace of use, the interior has minor marks, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. This means it presents well while still showing the gentle signs of wear expected from a pre-owned vintage Chanel piece.
Q: What is included with this Wallet on Chain? A: The product information lists a serial number tag as the included item. If any other accessories such as a box, authenticity card or dust bag are not listed in the product information, they should not be assumed to be included.
Q: From what year is this Chanel Wallet on Chain? A: The serial number is listed as 16******, which the product information dates to 2012. That makes this a vintage Chanel piece from the later Cambon era, which is one reason this style is especially appealing to collectors of older Chanel accessories.
Q: How should I care for and store this piece? A: To help preserve the leather, patent logo and shape, avoid overfilling it, keep it away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight, and wipe it gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth after use. When storing, keep it lightly filled with tissue, place it in a breathable dust bag if available, and make sure the chain does not press heavily against the leather for long periods.
