Q: What typically fits inside this Chanel CC Quilted Chain Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 30 x 21 x 5 cm, it is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, wallet or card holder, keys, sunglasses and a few small personal items. The slim depth means bulkier items or a laptop are unlikely to fit comfortably, while the internal pockets help keep smaller pieces organised.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. It features dual chain and leather shoulder straps with an approximate 25 cm drop, making it well suited to shoulder carry. It is not described as a crossbody style.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: This bag has a top zip closure, which helps keep your belongings enclosed and makes it practical for everyday use.

Q: What condition is the bag in?
A: Overall it is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows scuffing on the corners and slight creasing to the leather, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: The listing states that the serial number is included. If an authenticity card, box, dust bag or any other product information is not specifically listed, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Is the serial number important on a vintage Chanel bag?
A: Yes. On vintage and older pre-owned Chanel bags, the serial number is an important reference point for dating and authentication. However, it should always be considered alongside construction, stitching, hardware, logo details and overall craftsmanship rather than on its own.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, oils or sprays. Keep the bag away from prolonged sunlight, moisture and humidity, and if it gets wet, blot it carefully with a soft absorbent cloth rather than rubbing.

Q: How should I store it when not in use?
A: Store it upright, lightly stuffed with tissue to help maintain its shape, and wrap or cover the chains so they do not press into the leather. Keeping it in a protective pouch in a cool, dry place is ideal.

Q: Is light wear normal on a vintage Chanel bag?
A: Yes. Gentle corner wear, light creasing and fine hardware scratches are common signs of careful prior use on vintage leather bags. Many collectors expect a small amount of patina and wear as part of the character of an authentic vintage piece.
