Q: What wrist sizes will this bracelet fit?
A: The bracelet fastens with a lobster clasp and adjustable chain and is designed to fit wrists of approximately 15–18 cm. To check your fit, measure your wrist with a soft tape or string and add about 0.5–1 cm for comfort; you can also use a small extender chain if you prefer a looser fit.

Q: What materials are used in this Chanel piece?
A: It features light gold‑tone metal, a central ribbon motif with black glitter enamel, hand‑set rhinestones, black beads and faux pearls. Chanel costume jewellery traditionally uses imitation pearls and strass crystals to achieve its signature look.

Q: Is this bracelet vintage and where was it made?
A: Yes, it is a vintage Chanel design and it was made in France, as stated in the product information.

Q: How should I care for Chanel costume jewellery like this?
A: Keep it away from water, perfumes, lotions, and high heat. Put it on after cosmetics, remove before exercising, and store it dry in its box or a soft pouch. Wipe gently with a non‑pilling, soft cloth to maintain shine and avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing compounds.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or while swimming?
A: No. Chanel advises avoiding moisture and chemicals. If it does get damp, dry it carefully with a soft, absorbent cloth and allow it to air dry fully before storing.

Q: Will the gold‑tone finish tarnish or fade over time?
A: Plated finishes can show normal wear with friction, humidity, and contact with cosmetics. Minimising contact with moisture and chemicals, storing separately, and gentle handling will help preserve the colour and plating.

Q: How do I clean the rhinestones, enamel and faux pearls safely?
A: Use a dry or barely damp soft cloth to lift fingerprints and dust. Do not soak, use alcohol, ultrasonic cleaners, or harsh agents, as moisture and solvents can loosen rhinestone settings, dull enamel, and damage faux‑pearl coatings.

Q: Can missing stones or pearls be replaced if one falls out?
A: Many rhinestones can be replaced by a skilled costume‑jewellery repair specialist. Keep any fallen stones and consult a professional for a colour and size match. Availability of brand repairs for vintage costume jewellery varies by location and era, so outcomes are case by case.

Q: How is vintage Chanel jewellery authenticated?
A: Vintage Chanel pieces commonly bear a small signature plaque or stamp, sometimes with season codes (for example, a code indicating spring or autumn and the year). At A Retro Tale, every item is carefully vetted by in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, construction, stamps and overall workmanship.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information. For this bracelet, a box is included. If an item such as a dust pouch or authenticity card is not listed there, it is not included—please contact us if you would like us to confirm.
