Q: What does Chanel size 70 mean for this belt?
A: A size 70 belt is generally intended for a waist measurement of around 70 cm, which is approximately 27.5 inches. As belt sizing can vary depending on where you plan to wear it, we recommend measuring the exact point on your body where you want the belt to sit and comparing it with the product information.

Q: Is this belt designed to be worn at the waist or on the hips?
A: This is a waist belt, so it is best suited to being worn higher on the waist rather than low on the hips. If you prefer a lower-slung fit, be sure to measure that area first, as size 70 is a relatively small fit.

Q: What are the main features of this Chanel belt?
A: This piece features metallic silver ruched leather, gold-tone hardware, a rhinestone-embellished CC logo buckle, a hook fastening, and a slim 2 cm width. It is a statement accessory that adds shine and definition to dresses, tailoring, and evening looks.

Q: How does the hook fastening work?
A: The belt fastens with a hook closure at the front. This gives it a clean, jewellery-like finish and makes the buckle the focal point of the design. For the best fit, always check the product information and measurements before purchasing.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: The belt is listed in very good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear and typical for vintage luxury accessories.

Q: Does this item come with a box, dust bag, or authenticity card?
A: No, this item comes with no accessories. Everything included with the purchase is shown in the product information, so if an accessory is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: Is there a serial number on this belt?
A: The serial number is noted as illegible. This can happen on vintage Chanel accessories due to age and wear. As with all items sold by A Retro Tale, the piece has been professionally assessed for authenticity before being offered for sale.

Q: How should I care for the rhinestone buckle and leather?
A: To help preserve the finish, wipe the belt gently with a soft, dry cloth after use and avoid contact with water, perfume, lotions, hairspray, or harsh cleaning products. Store it flat or loosely coiled in a dry place, ideally away from other accessories so the rhinestones and hardware do not rub against other items.

Q: Is this belt suitable for everyday wear?
A: It can certainly be worn regularly, but because it is a vintage Chanel piece with rhinestone detailing, many buyers prefer to use it for occasion dressing or to elevate simple outfits. Gentle handling will help maintain the leather, hardware, and stones over time.
