Q: What are the measurements of this Small C’est Dior and what typically fits inside?
A: This piece measures approximately H 18 × W 16 × D 6.6 cm. In daily use it comfortably fits a large smartphone, a compact wallet or card holder, keys, and small essentials like lipstick; slim sunglasses can fit if not in a bulky case. Dior’s listed Small size for this model is around 17 × 18 × 7 cm, so capacity can vary slightly by edition and how you pack.

Q: How can it be worn?
A: The bag has a removable top handle and a detachable, adjustable chain shoulder strap with a leather insert, so it can be carried by hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody. On this item, the strap drop is up to about 52 cm at the longest setting, and the handle drop is about 9 cm.

Q: Does it fit a large smartphone (e.g., iPhone Pro Max)?
A: Yes, most large smartphones fit upright with room for a slim card holder and keys. If you use a thick case, we recommend checking against the measurements above to be sure.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: The C’est Dior features the CD Lock closure with a twisting letter D mechanism that secures the opening while remaining easy to operate one-handed.

Q: What materials is it made from and how should I care for it?
A: This example is crafted in beige calfskin with a suede-like interior. For care, wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth, avoid oil-based products and prolonged exposure to sunlight or rain, and store it stuffed and upright in its dust bag to retain shape. With light-coloured leather, avoid contact with dark textiles to minimise colour transfer.

Q: When was this style introduced, and is it still a current model?
A: The C’est Dior line was introduced for Fall 2023 and remains part of Dior’s contemporary handbag offering in various leathers and colours. Availability of specific colours can vary by season and boutique.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: According to the product information, this piece comes with the box, dust bag, brand booklet and a detachable shoulder strap. Anything not listed there is not included.

Q: Does this Dior bag have a date code or microchip?
A: Many Dior bags include an internal date code tag; some recent pieces may also incorporate an NFC/microchip element. Not all items have both. At A Retro Tale, every item is authenticated through multi-point inspection of materials, hardware, stamps and coding where present.

Q: How does the Small compare to the Medium C’est Dior?
A: The Small is roughly 17 × 18 × 7 cm, ideal for essentials and day-to-evening wear. The Medium is about 24 × 25.5 × 10 cm and holds more (such as a small water bottle or larger sunglasses case), with a similar top-handle and adjustable strap set-up. If you’re unsure which size suits your needs, compare what you carry daily to these dimensions.
