Q: What are the dimensions and what fits inside?
A: Approx. 35 × 18 × 11 cm. It comfortably carries daily essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, small cosmetics pouch, a 500 ml bottle and a small tablet/ebook reader (up to roughly 11 inches depending on case). A4 documents and most 13-inch laptops do not fit comfortably due to the 18 cm height and zip-top opening.

Q: Is there a shoulder strap?
A: No. The Uptown Eyelet is designed as a top-handle bag with an approximate handle drop of 12 cm, best carried by hand or in the crook of the arm.

Q: Which collection is this bag from?
A: The Street Chic “Uptown” design is from the early 2000s Galliano era at Dior and is commonly associated with the 2002 season. This model is appreciated by Y2K collectors for its era-specific detailing such as eyelets and Diorissimo elements.

Q: What are the main materials and interior details?
A: This piece features black canvas with black leather trim, silver-tone hardware, dual rolled leather handles, and a black Diorissimo monogram lining with a single interior zip pocket. It closes with a zip at the top.

Q: Where is the date code on this Dior bag and what does it look like?
A: On Galliano-era Dior bags, the date/serial code is typically found on the reverse of the small interior leather tag (often inside or near the zip pocket). The code is a combination of letters and numbers indicating factory and date; formats varied over the years. If you need help reading it, contact us and we’ll guide you.

Q: How should I care for the canvas, leather trim and eyelet hardware?
A: Wipe canvas gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Nourish leather trim sparingly with a pH‑neutral leather conditioner, avoiding the canvas and hardware. Keep metal eyelets dry, avoid overloading the bag to reduce stress around them, and store the bag stuffed and upright in a breathable dust bag away from direct sunlight and humidity.

Q: Are the eyelets likely to snag clothing?
A: The eyelets are smooth metal grommets, but with delicate knits or lace we recommend a little care when brushing the bag against garments to avoid snagging.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information section. For this listing, there are no extra items included.

Q: How do you describe this bag’s condition?
A: Very Good overall. There are signs of wear on the leather handles, a light trace of use inside, and the silver-tone hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the photos for the most accurate view.
