Q: What typically fits inside this Fendi Leather Baguette Crossbody Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 26 x 15 x 6 cm, this bag is best suited to daily essentials rather than bulky items. A phone, compact wallet, keys, lipstick and a few small personal items should fit comfortably. If you carry a large purse, water bottle or tablet, it will feel compact.

Q: Is this bag better for the shoulder or crossbody wear?
A: This piece has a single adjustable strap measuring approximately 53 cm. It is designed to sit neatly close to the body and works well on the shoulder; depending on your height and preferred fit, it may also suit short crossbody wear.

Q: Does this bag have pockets and how does it close?
A: Yes. It features a grey fabric lining with one internal zipped pocket, and the front flap secures with a magnetic FF logo closure. This keeps the silhouette sleek while giving you a practical place for smaller valuables.

Q: Is this close to the classic Fendi Baguette size?
A: Yes, the proportions are very close to the classic Baguette format that made the style iconic. Its slim shape and compact profile are in keeping with the signature under-the-arm Baguette look.

Q: Will a modern smartphone fit inside?
A: In most cases, yes. Most standard smartphones should fit alongside a small wallet and keys, although very large phones with bulky cases may reduce the space available for other items.

Q: Is the leather delicate on a vintage Fendi Baguette?
A: Vintage leather Baguettes are prized for their soft, luxurious feel, but they can show wear over time, especially at the corners, edges and flap. This example is listed in very good condition with light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for this vintage leather bag?
A: Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and rain. Avoid contact with perfume, alcohol-based products, oils and abrasive surfaces, and keep it lightly stuffed when not in use to help maintain its shape. Gentle care is best for vintage leather.

Q: What product information is included with this item?
A: No product information is included with this piece. Everything included is listed on the product page, so if an item is not mentioned there, it should be assumed not to be included.

Q: How do you verify authenticity on a pre-owned Fendi Baguette?
A: Pre-owned Fendi bags are typically assessed through a combination of craftsmanship, leather quality, hardware, branding details, lining, stitching and any interior codes or labels where present. At A Retro Tale, each item is checked by in-house experts before being offered for sale.
