Q: What fits inside the Fendi Pico Baguette micro bag?
A: The Pico is ultra‑mini. Think coins, folded notes, a single key, and tiny jewellery. Standard credit cards, most key fobs, typical lipsticks, and AirPods/earbud charging cases are generally too large. Please compare your essentials to the Measurements shown (approx. 5.5 × 5.5 × 1.5 cm) or ask us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Will my iPhone or credit card fit?
A: No. Smartphones and standard credit/debit cards exceed the Pico’s footprint. It’s designed as a micro statement piece for very small essentials rather than a conventional wallet or phone bag.

Q: Is the chain strap adjustable? Can I wear it crossbody or as a charm?
A: The chain is detachable but not adjustable. With a 60 cm drop, it can be worn as a high crossbody or necklace‑style on many wearers. Many owners also style the Pico as a charm on a larger bag. Please ensure attachments are secure and avoid heavy movement to protect the beadwork and fringe.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: It features a flap top with the FF logo closure, typically a magnetic/snap mechanism. This offers everyday security for tiny items but isn’t as sealed as a zip. We recommend keeping the bag upright and not overstuffed.

Q: What is the exterior finish and how should I care for it?
A: This vintage edition has brown and olive beading with fringe and gold‑tone hardware. Keep it away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight. Beadwork and fringe can snag—avoid abrasive surfaces and open‑weave fabrics. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Store lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag, and place a soft cloth between the chain and the bag to minimise imprints and hairline scratches on hardware.

Q: Will the beads or fringe catch on clothing?
A: Beaded/fringe finishes can catch on open knits, sequins or rough denim. Pair with smoother fabrics and be mindful when wearing bracelets or rings that could snag. As with many vintage beaded pieces, gentle handling helps preserve the embellishment.

Q: Is this Pico Baguette edition still produced?
A: The Pico Baguette appears in various seasonal releases, but beaded fringe editions like this vintage piece are typically discontinued. The pre‑loved market is the best way to find specific finishes and colours.

Q: Where are the brand markings and codes located, and how is dating handled?
A: Authentic Fendi bags include interior heat‑stamps (e.g., “FENDI” and country of origin). Serial/production tags vary by era; micro accessories may have different or minimal coding compared with full‑size bags. Placement and format can vary—contact us for close‑up photos of this item and we’ll help with dating.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This piece is delivered with its box and detachable chain strap. If an accessory isn’t mentioned under “Accessories,” it isn’t included—feel free to ask us to confirm.

Q: How do you authenticate, and can Fendi repair this piece?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps and overall construction. Fendi repairs are subject to boutique assessment and parts availability; beadwork/fringe services may be limited. Independent luxury specialists can assist with cleaning and minor restoration—we’re happy to advise based on this exact piece.
