Q: What is the Gucci G‑Timeless Rabbit 38mm Ref 126.4?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made quartz wristwatch from Gucci’s G‑Timeless line featuring a 38mm stainless steel case and a distinctive rabbit motif dial. This pre‑loved example is in very good condition with light scratches to the hardware, offering a refined yet playful design for everyday or occasion wear.

Q: What movement does it use and how accurate is it?
A: The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement, valued for reliability and low maintenance. Quartz watches typically keep excellent time—often within seconds per month—depending on battery health and operating conditions.

Q: Is it water‑resistant? Can I wear it in the rain or swim?
A: As a vintage/pre‑owned piece, water resistance cannot be guaranteed. Treat it as splash‑resistant at best and avoid showering, swimming or submersion. If light moisture resistance is important, have the gaskets inspected and replaced by an authorised watchmaker and pressure‑tested before use.

Q: Will the 38mm size suit my wrist, and is it unisex?
A: 38mm offers a balanced, mid‑size presence that wears well on many small to medium wrists and is widely considered unisex. If you’d like sizing guidance, share your wrist measurement and we’ll advise on fit and strap/bracelet options.

Q: What crystal does the G‑Timeless Rabbit use—sapphire or mineral?
A: Many G‑Timeless models feature a sapphire crystal for scratch resistance, but specifications can vary by reference. We can confirm the crystal type on this exact watch on request.

Q: How long does the battery last, and which battery type does it take?
A: Typical battery life is around 2–3 years. Many Gucci quartz models use a standard 1.55V silver‑oxide cell (commonly 377/SR626SW or similar), but the exact type can vary—please have a professional watchmaker confirm and replace the battery to protect the movement and seals.

Q: How do I set the time and care for the watch day‑to‑day?
A: Gently pull the crown to the time‑setting position, turn to set the hands, then push the crown back in. Wipe the case/bracelet with a soft microfibre cloth, avoid abrasive cleaners, perfumes and solvents, and keep the watch away from strong magnets. For deeper cleaning or adjustments, use a qualified watchmaker.

Q: Can I change the strap, and what lug width will fit?
A: Yes—straps are interchangeable. Most 38mm G‑Timeless models use 20mm lugs, but fit can vary; we’re happy to confirm the exact lug width for this reference and recommend compatible strap options.

Q: What is included (box/papers), and how do you guarantee authenticity?
A: This piece is delivered as shown with no accessories unless otherwise stated. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage items and professionally authenticates every watch. We can provide additional photos and details on request.

Q: What warranty and service support do you provide?
A: All our watches come with a 12‑month mechanical guarantee covering the movement. Battery replacement and routine wear are not typically included. Quartz watches usually only need battery changes every 1–3 years and servicing if issues arise (e.g., moisture, erratic timekeeping). Contact us if you’d like service advice or a battery change arranged before shipping.
