Q: What does Double Tour mean on this Hermès Étrier bracelet?
A: Double tour means the leather strap wraps around the wrist twice to create a layered look. The Étrier hardware draws on Hermès’ equestrian heritage with a stirrup-inspired design. The slim profile (approx. 0.8 cm wide) makes it easy to wear alone or stacked with a watch or bangles.

Q: How do I choose the right size for a leather Hermès bracelet?
A: Hermès leather bracelets typically use T sizing. Based on Hermès size notes across models, T1 suits approx. 13.5–14.5 cm wrists, T2 approx. 14.5–15.5 cm, T3 approx. 15.5–16.5 cm, and some styles offer T4 at approx. 16.5–17.5 cm. This bracelet is listed at 15.5 cm (adjustable) with a buckle, so it generally fits wrists around 14.5–16.0 cm depending on your preferred tightness. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, choose the next size up or use a looser hole.

Q: How is the Étrier Double Tour fastened?
A: Wrap the strap twice around your wrist and secure it using the buckle closure through the pre-set holes. The design is intended to be opened and closed on the wrist rather than slid over the hand.

Q: Is the bracelet water-resistant? Can I shower or swim with it?
A: No. Leather is sensitive to water, heat, oils and humidity. Avoid showering, swimming or prolonged rain. If it gets wet, blot immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth and let it dry away from heat or direct sun.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Keep the bracelet away from oils, perfume, alcohol-based products and dark textiles that may transfer colour. Store it flat or loosely coiled in its box or a breathable pouch, in a cool, dry place away from light. Do not use commercial cleaners or anti-humidity sachets; periodic cleaning by Hermès after-sales is recommended. Light micro-scratches on metal are normal with wear; wipe hardware gently with a soft cloth.

Q: What metal is the hardware and will it tarnish?
A: Hermès bracelet hardware is typically brass plated with precious metals such as fine gold or palladium. With normal wear, fine hairline scratches may appear. Proper storage and avoiding moisture/chemicals will help preserve the finish over time.

Q: Will the leather stretch or change colour over time?
A: Hermès uses full‑grain leathers that soften and develop a natural patina with use. Minor stretch can occur if worn very tightly; choosing a comfortable hole and alternating wrists can help maintain shape and appearance.

Q: Can the fit be altered or extra holes added?
A: The fit should be adjusted using the existing buckle holes. Adding holes or cutting the strap is not recommended as it can compromise the leather and reduce value. For any refurbishment or questions, consult Hermès after‑sales service.
