Q: What typically fits inside the Pochette Jour PM?
A: With approximate measurements of 24.5 × 17.5 × 1.5 cm, it’s ideal for daily essentials such as a large smartphone, slim wallet or cardholder, keys, passport, and folded receipts. A5 notebooks and diaries generally fit; compact tablets like the iPad mini may fit without a bulky case. A4 papers, full‑size tablets and laptops will not fit.

Q: How does the L‑zip closure and interior layout work?
A: The L‑shaped zip runs along the top and one side, allowing a wide opening for easy access. Inside, there is a microfibre‑lined compartment with one flat pocket for cards or slips, keeping small items organised.

Q: Does this pouch come with a strap or wristlet?
A: No. The Pochette Jour PM is a slim handheld pouch designed to be carried in the hand or tucked under the arm. Many clients also use it as an organiser inside a larger tote or briefcase.

Q: Is this piece unisex?
A: Yes. Although the Pochette Jour originated in the men’s line, its clean, minimal design and compact format make it a versatile unisex pouch.

Q: What does the date code TH 4177 indicate?
A: “TH” denotes French manufacture, and “4177” decodes to the 47th week of 2017. Note that Louis Vuitton replaced physical date codes with microchips from 2021 onward; date codes are not unique serial numbers but one of many indicators used during authentication.

Q: What accessories are included with this item?
A: This piece comes with a dust bag. Unless specifically listed, a box, strap, or other accessories are not included.

Q: How should I care for the light pink leather and microfibre lining?
A: Wipe the leather gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid moisture, oils, and prolonged sunlight to minimise colour fade. Prevent contact with dark denim or heavily dyed fabrics to avoid colour transfer. For storage, keep it lightly stuffed in its dust bag in a cool, dry place, and avoid overfilling to preserve its silhouette.

Q: Is the colour true to the photos?
A: We strive to photograph items as accurately as possible, but tones may vary slightly due to lighting and individual screen settings. This specific piece is crafted in light pink leather with silver‑tone hardware.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this item?
A: Every item undergoes multi‑point checks by our in‑house experts, reviewing materials, stitching, stamps, hardware, and date codes. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and are happy to provide further details on request.
