Q: What typically fits inside the Saint Laurent Kahala Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 38 × 38 × 2 cm, this is a roomy yet slim tote that suits daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, sunglasses, keys, a cosmetic pouch, and flat items like A4 papers or a slim tablet. Because the profile is shallow, bulkier items may make it sit less neatly.

Q: Can it fit a laptop?
A: It may accommodate a smaller, slim laptop based on the footprint, but the bag is soft and only about 2 cm deep, so it is better suited to lighter everyday essentials and flatter items. We recommend comparing your device measurements with the bag dimensions before purchase.

Q: Can it be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. It features dual flat shoulder straps with an approximate handle drop of 18 cm, so it is designed for shoulder carry. Depending on your build and outfit, it can also be carried in hand.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: This bag has a drawstring closure, which helps gather and secure the opening while keeping the silhouette soft and lightweight. It is practical for daily use, though it is not as enclosed as a zipped top.

Q: What are the main materials and interior details?
A: This piece is crafted in pink canvas with silver-tone hardware and a black fabric lining. Inside, there is one internal pocket for smaller essentials. It is a vintage Saint Laurent design made in Italy.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is rated very good. The exterior shows minor wear on the corners, the interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful vintage wear.

Q: Does it come with any product information?
A: No. This listing is noted as having no product information included, so only the bag itself is included unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Q: How should I care for and store a vintage canvas bag like this?
A: Wipe the canvas gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth, avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged moisture, and store the bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. To help maintain the shape, keep it lightly stuffed and avoid hanging it by the straps for long periods.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is vetted before sale using checks of materials, construction, hardware, branding details, and overall craftsmanship, so you can shop this vintage piece with confidence.
