Q: What are these earrings made from?
A: Solid 925 sterling silver with a high‑polished finish, featuring the Tiffany Forge open‑link motif.

Q: How large are they and how do they sit on the ear?
A: Approximately 5 cm in drop and 1.3 cm at the widest point. They are a statement, articulated drop that moves gracefully when worn.

Q: What fastening do they use?
A: A hinged closure for pierced ears that clicks securely into place and is easy to put on and take off.

Q: Are they heavy to wear?
A: As solid sterling silver, they have a satisfying, medium weight. Most find them comfortable for day‑to‑night wear, but if you prefer ultra‑light earrings, please consider the measurements above and your personal comfort.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears?
A: Sterling silver (925) is generally well tolerated and often works for nickel‑sensitive wearers. However, sterling is an alloy and very sensitive individuals may react to trace metals. If you have a known metal allergy, we recommend a cautious first wear or consulting a specialist.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish and how should I care for them?
A: Yes. Silver can naturally tarnish with exposure to air, humidity, lotions, perfumes and chlorinated water. Wipe after each wear with a soft silver cloth, store in a dry pouch, and occasionally use a quality silver cleaner. Avoid pools, hot tubs and harsh chemicals.

Q: Can Tiffany & Co. clean or service these earrings?
A: Tiffany & Co. offers professional cleaning and repair services for their pieces; service availability and fees are determined by Tiffany. A Retro Tale is happy to advise on care on request.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect?
A: Typical markings on Tiffany sterling include Tiffany & Co. and 925; hallmark style and placement can vary by production run. This pre‑owned pair is labelled made in Italy.

Q: What exactly is included with this item?
A: The listing specifies no accessories are included. You will receive the earrings only; if an item like a box or pouch is not listed under Accessories, it is not included.

Q: How does A Retro Tale verify authenticity?
