Tiffany & CoPaloma Picasso Heart Arrow Silver Necklace

Q: What is this necklace made from?
A: This vintage necklace is crafted in silver and features a Paloma Picasso heart and arrow pendant with a spring ring clasp closure.

Q: How long is the necklace and where will it sit?
A: The necklace perimeter is 40 cm. That is close to a classic short necklace length, so it will usually sit around the collarbone area, although the exact drop depends on the wearer.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish over time?
A: Yes. Tarnish is a normal characteristic of sterling silver and can develop with exposure to air, moisture, perfume, lotion, chlorine and perspiration. It does not necessarily mean the necklace is damaged.

Q: How should I care for and store it?
A: Gently polish the necklace with a soft silver cloth and store it dry in a soft jewellery pouch or anti-tarnish box when not in use. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, humidity, cosmetics and household chemicals.

Q: Can I wear it every day?
A: Yes, it is suitable for regular wear, but as with most silver jewellery it is best removed before showering, swimming, exercising or applying perfume and body products to help preserve the finish.

Q: What makes the Paloma Picasso heart and arrow design special?
A: The heart and arrow motif is one of Paloma Picasso’s romantic, graphic signatures. It gives the necklace an expressive look while remaining easy to style for everyday wear.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: It is listed in very good condition, with slight signs of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful wear on a vintage silver piece.

Q: Does it come with a box, pouch or other extras?
A: No. This piece comes with no accessories. Please refer to the product information for what is included with this listing.

Q: Can the chain or clasp be repaired or adjusted?
A: In many cases, Tiffany necklaces can be repaired or their length adjusted after inspection. If you would like to alter or service the piece in future, a professional assessment is recommended.

Q: How is authenticity handled?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is reviewed for authenticity before sale. If you would like additional guidance about this piece, our team will be happy to help.
