Q: What is this necklace made from?
A: Solid sterling silver (.925). Sterling silver may naturally develop light tarnish over time but it can be polished back to a bright shine with routine care.

Q: What are the measurements of this piece?
A: The chain is approximately 40 cm long and the heart pendant measures about 1.5 cm in width and 0.3 cm in depth, as listed on this page.

Q: Is the chain adjustable or can I change the length?
A: This necklace has a fixed 40 cm chain without extra adjustment rings. Many owners choose to pair the pendant with a different chain or a small extender for a longer drop—contact us if you would like the internal bail opening measured to check compatibility.

Q: What clasp does it have?
A: A classic spring ring clasp that secures the chain neatly and is easy to fasten.

Q: What does “Return to Tiffany” mean?
A: The collection is inspired by a Tiffany key ring from 1966 that encouraged the safe return of lost items to Tiffany & Co. The Full Heart reimagines the iconic heart tag as a three‑dimensional pendant.

Q: Will sterling silver irritate sensitive skin?
A: Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver with the balance typically copper. Most people with sensitive skin find sterling silver comfortable to wear, though individual reactions can vary. If you have known metal sensitivities, we recommend a short wear test first.

Q: How should I clean and care for it?
A: Clean gently with mild soap and warm water, rinse and dry thoroughly, then use a soft silver polishing cloth to restore shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners, toothpaste and “dip” solutions. Store completely dry in a soft pouch to slow down tarnish and keep the piece separate from other jewellery to prevent scratches.

Q: Can I wear it every day or in water?
A: Daily wear is fine, but remove before swimming, showering, exercising, or applying perfume, lotions or hairspray. Chlorine and cosmetics can accelerate tarnish and dull the finish.

Q: Is this an authentic Tiffany piece and what is included?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully authenticated by our specialists using multi‑point checks of materials, hallmarks and craftsmanship. This listing is a vintage, pre‑owned necklace in very good condition with minor marks on the hardware. It comes as shown with no accessories unless stated otherwise on this page.
