Q: Is this an authentic Tiffany & Co. Paloma Picasso piece?
A: Yes. All items sold by A Retro Tale are carefully inspected for authenticity by our expert team before being listed for sale.

Q: What is special about the Paloma Picasso Olive Leaf design?
A: The Olive Leaf collection is one of Paloma Picasso’s signature Tiffany & Co. lines, inspired by the olive groves around her home in Marrakesh. The motif is known as a symbol of peace, harmony and abundance, which makes it both decorative and meaningful.

Q: What colour is the stone in this necklace?
A: This necklace features an amethyst, presented here in a purple tone. As with many gemstones, the colour may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.

Q: Can I wear this necklace every day?
A: Yes, it can work beautifully as an everyday jewellery piece, especially thanks to its versatile 44 cm length. As with all fine jewellery set with gemstones, it is best to remove it before showering, swimming, exercising or applying perfume, lotion and hair products to help preserve its finish.

Q: How should I clean and care for an amethyst necklace like this?
A: Clean it gently with a soft cloth after wear. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water, a little mild soap and a very soft brush, then dry it carefully. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, ultrasonic cleaning and hard knocks, as amethyst can be scratched or damaged by impact.

Q: Can the necklace length be adjusted?
A: Many Tiffany & Co. necklaces can be lengthened or shortened, but this depends on the exact construction of the piece. If you are considering an alteration after purchase, a professional jeweller or Tiffany & Co. can advise whether adjustment is possible for this style.

Q: What is the condition of this necklace?
A: The necklace is in very good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, which is normal for a pre-owned fine jewellery piece.

Q: What is included with the necklace?
A: This item comes with a box. Please refer to the product information for everything included with your purchase.

Q: Is this necklace suitable for layering?
A: Yes. A 44 cm necklace is a versatile length that can be worn alone for a refined look or layered with shorter and longer chains for added dimension. If you enjoy a neat layered look, pairing it with pieces at noticeably different lengths usually works best.
