Q: What is the Tiffany & Co. Somerset Silver Bracelet made from?
A: This bracelet is crafted from 925 sterling silver and features Tiffany & Co.’s distinctive woven mesh design. It is a vintage piece with a timeless, substantial look that works beautifully on its own or stacked with other jewellery.

Q: What size is this bracelet, and how should I check the fit?
A: The listed perimeter is 19.5 cm, which is approximately 7.7 inches. For the best fit, compare this measurement with your own wrist and hand, as closed mesh bangles need to slide over the hand as well as sit comfortably on the wrist.

Q: Does this bracelet have a clasp?
A: This Somerset mesh style is typically designed as a slip-on bracelet rather than a chain bracelet with a clasp. That is why the listed measurements are especially important when deciding if it will fit you comfortably.

Q: Is the bracelet rigid or flexible?
A: The Somerset mesh design usually has a structured bangle-like shape with a slight flexibility from the woven silver construction. It feels more substantial than a chain bracelet while still offering comfortable wear.

Q: What condition is this bracelet in?
A: This piece is listed in Very Good Condition. It presents as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear and typical for vintage sterling silver jewellery.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish over time?
A: Yes, sterling silver can naturally tarnish with exposure to air, moisture, chlorine and sulphur-containing products. This is normal for silver jewellery, and regular wear often helps keep it looking brighter.

Q: How should I care for and clean this bracelet?
A: Clean it gently with a soft polishing cloth made for silver. If needed, use a suitable silver cleaner sparingly, then rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, perfume, hot springs and prolonged moisture, and store it in a dry place when not in use.

Q: How can I tell whether a Tiffany Somerset bracelet is authentic?
A: Authentic examples are typically marked Tiffany & Co. and 925, and they should have crisp engraving, quality craftsmanship and a solid feel. As with all pieces sold by A Retro Tale, this item has been reviewed for authenticity by in-house experts.

Q: Does this bracelet come with the original box or pouch?
A: This listing notes no box, pouch or other extras, so please expect the bracelet itself only unless otherwise stated on the product page.
