Q: Are these earrings for pierced ears and how do they fasten?
A: Yes. They are hoop-style for pierced ears with a latch back closure that clicks into place behind the earlobe for a secure, comfortable fit.

Q: What is the metal composition, and are they suitable for sensitive ears?
A: The listing specifies silver-tone hardware; the exact base metal is not stated. Bottega Veneta jewellery varies by style (some pieces are sterling silver, others are silver-finish alloys). If you have a nickel sensitivity, we recommend confirming materials with us before purchase and opting for proven nickel-safe metals where possible. Discontinue wear if irritation occurs.

Q: What are the measurements and overall look on the ear?
A: Approximate measurements are H 6.5 cm × W 6 cm × D 0.3 cm. They are medium-to-large sculptural hoops that create a statement look without excessive bulk. Please check the Measurements section to ensure the size suits your preference.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: Very good pre-owned condition with light traces of use. Expect minor surface marks consistent with gentle wear; the finish remains bright and presentable.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This pair comes with a box and a dust bag as listed on this page.

Q: Will the silver-tone finish tarnish or change colour over time?
A: Silver and silver‑plated finishes can naturally oxidise and dull with exposure to air, moisture, lotions and perfumes. Regular gentle wiping after wear and correct storage will help minimise tarnish. Plated finishes can wear if polished aggressively, so avoid abrasives.

Q: How should I clean and care for them?
A: After each wear, wipe with a soft, dry, lint‑free cloth. For a deeper clean, use a little mild soap in lukewarm water on the metal only, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals, silver dips, ultrasonic cleaners and abrasive polishing cloths, which can strip plating. Store clasped in the dust bag, away from humidity and direct sunlight.

Q: Are returns accepted for pierced earrings?
A: For hygiene reasons, many retailers restrict returns on pierced earrings once tried on. Please review our Returns policy or contact us before purchasing if you have any questions.

Q: Where are these made?
A: The country-of-origin label indicates Italy.
