Q: What length is the Chanel Coco Mark Deer Long Necklace?
A: The necklace perimeter is approximately 70 cm, which is considered a long necklace length. On most wearers it will sit lower than a standard collarbone chain, making it a good option for statement wear or layering. Exact placement will vary depending on neck size and frame.

Q: Is the necklace adjustable?
A: This piece is listed with a lobster clasp closure and a 70 cm perimeter, but no extender is mentioned in the product information. It is therefore best considered a fixed-length necklace unless otherwise confirmed.

Q: What design details does this necklace have?
A: This vintage Chanel necklace features a deer pendant, an interlocking CC logo with crystal embellishments, faux pearls, black bead details, and a long chain silhouette. Please refer to the product information and photos for the best view of the finish and detailing.

Q: Is this fine jewellery?
A: No, this is best understood as Chanel costume jewellery rather than solid precious-metal fine jewellery. That is typical for many Chanel fashion necklaces and is one reason careful wear and storage are recommended.

Q: What condition is the necklace in?
A: It is described as being in very good condition, with light trace of use. The hardware is noted as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle wear on a vintage piece.

Q: What is included with the necklace?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with a box. If something is not listed in the product information, it should not be assumed to be included.

Q: Can I wear this necklace every day?
A: Vintage Chanel costume jewellery is usually better suited to careful, occasional wear rather than constant daily use. Regular exposure to moisture, perfume, lotions, friction, and heat can accelerate finish wear and affect faux pearls or crystals over time.

Q: How should I care for it?
A: Put the necklace on after perfume and makeup, keep it away from water and humidity, and wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store it separately so the pendant, pearls, beads, and crystals do not rub against other pieces.

Q: How do you authenticate this Chanel necklace?
A: A Retro Tale states that its items are authenticated by in-house experts using a multi-step review process. This helps verify details such as construction, finish, design cues, stamps, and overall consistency before a piece is offered for sale.
