Q: Are these earrings for pierced ears or clip-on?
A: They are stud earrings with a post-back closure designed for pierced ears, as shown in the photos.

Q: What are the measurements and how do they look on?
A: Approx. 3 cm high × 1 cm wide × 0.3 cm deep (about 30 × 10 × 3 mm). This size sits neatly on the lobe for a noticeable yet wearable look.

Q: What comes with this item?
A: Product information: no additional items are included. You will receive the earrings only. Everything included with the piece is listed under Product information on this page; if something is not listed, it is not included—contact us if you would like us to confirm what is pictured.

Q: How should I care for resin and rhinestone Chanel costume jewellery?
A: Handle with care and avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and solvents. Apply fragrance and cosmetics before putting the earrings on, wipe gently with a soft lint-free cloth after wear, and store them separately in a dry place away from direct light. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical dips.

Q: Can I wear them in the shower, pool or at the gym?
A: We recommend removing them before showering, swimming or exercising. Moisture, heat and sweat can dull plated finishes and may weaken adhesives that secure rhinestones, increasing the risk of stone loss.

Q: A stone has come loose—can these be repaired?
A: Many jewellers experienced with costume pieces can reset or replace rhinestones of comparable size and colour. Availability of brand parts for vintage costume jewellery varies; if a boutique cannot service a vintage piece, we can suggest trusted third‑party specialists—please contact us for assistance.

Q: Are the posts hypoallergenic?
A: As with most vintage costume jewellery, the exact metal composition is not specified and may not be nickel‑free. If you have sensitive ears, consider protective disc backs or barrier sleeves and limit wear time. Those with a diagnosed nickel allergy should follow medical guidance when choosing earrings.

Q: How can I tell if vintage Chanel earrings are authentic?
A: Authentic Chanel costume earrings typically feature a maker’s signature stamp or plaque on the reverse; the stamp style and any season code can help indicate the production period. Overall craftsmanship, materials and construction should align with the house’s standards. Our in‑house experts authenticate every piece and can share close‑up photos of the signature on request.

Q: What is the condition of this pair?
A: Very Good overall with light signs of use. The silver‑tone hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches; please refer to the photos for the most accurate view.
