Louis VuittonDamier Ebene Hampstead MM Bag

Q: What size is the Louis Vuitton Hampstead MM, and what does MM mean?
A: MM stands for the medium size in the Hampstead line. For this specific bag, the listed measurements are 35 × 28 × 17 cm, which gives it a practical everyday tote format with a structured silhouette.

Q: What typically fits inside the Hampstead MM?
A: The Hampstead MM is generally considered a roomy daily tote. With this bag’s dimensions, it should comfortably fit everyday essentials such as a long wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, cosmetics pouch, small water bottle, and a tablet or slim notebook. If you need to check a specific item, please use the Measurements on this page as your guide.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The Hampstead MM is designed as a shoulder tote, and this example has an adjustable strap drop listed at 25 cm. That usually allows for comfortable shoulder wear, though the fit can vary slightly depending on clothing and personal preference.

Q: Is the Hampstead MM heavy?
A: Compared with softer open totes, the Hampstead MM is often considered a little more structured and therefore slightly weightier. Many owners choose it for that reason, as the shape feels polished and sturdy for everyday use, work, or shopping.

Q: Does the bag close securely?
A: The Hampstead MM typically features an open top with an interior clasp-style closure rather than a full zip. This gives easy access while helping keep the contents gathered more securely than a fully open tote.

Q: Is this Louis Vuitton model discontinued?
A: Yes, the Hampstead line is widely regarded as a discontinued Louis Vuitton model. That makes it a style many buyers specifically seek out on the pre-owned market for its structured tote shape and signature front plaque.

Q: What does the date code TR3190 indicate?
A: Louis Vuitton date codes from this era use two letters followed by four numbers. The code TR indicates production in France, and 3190 corresponds to the 39th week of 2010. As always, a date code helps with identification but should be considered alongside the overall construction and details of the bag.

Q: What condition is this bag in, and what is included?
A: According to this listing, the bag is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The interior is also listed as Very Good, and the hardware is described as shiny with light scratches. The included product information lists a dust bag.
