Q: What characterizes this Cartier Tank Française 21mm (2024)?
A: This Reference 4472 represents the updated generation of the iconic Tank Française. Crafted in stainless steel, this "Small" model features a 21mm case, a silvered sunray dial with classic Roman numerals, and signature blued-steel sword-shaped hands. The 2024 design updates include a more integrated bracelet and a refined satin-brushed finish.

Q: Is this watch powered by a battery?
A: Yes, this specific model is equipped with a high-precision Cartier quartz movement. This offers reliable, low-maintenance timekeeping without the need for daily winding or movement resetting.

Q: What is included in the "Full Set"?
A: This listing is a complete set. It includes the original Cartier box, the official certificate from 2024, and 5 extra bracelet links. This ensures you receive the full retail experience with the pre-owned value.

Q: Will the watch fit my wrist?
A: The Tank Française is designed to wear like a seamless bracelet. This specific timepiece fits a wrist circumference of up to 18.5cm, thanks to the inclusion of the 5 extra links. The bracelet can be sized down by removing links for a custom fit.

Q: What is the condition of the watch?
A: Rated as "Very Good," this 2024 timepiece shows only light traces of use consistent with being pre-owned for a short period. The hardware remains shiny with some light scratches, preserving its luxury aesthetic.

Q: Is the watch water-resistant?
A: The manufacturer rates this model to 30 metres (3 bar). While this is a very recent model from 2024, we generally recommend treating pre-owned luxury watches as splash-resistant only—suitable for washing hands but not for swimming or showering.

Q: Does it have a scratch-resistant glass?
A: Yes, it is fitted with a sapphire crystal. This material is highly resistant to scratches, ensuring the dial remains legible and the watch retains its clarity over time.

Q: Is there a warranty?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale provides a 12-month warranty covering the mechanical movement. We also guarantee 100% authenticity on every item we sell.
