Q: What is the length of this choker?
A: The necklace perimeter is 41 cm, which is approximately 16.1 inches. This places it at the longer end of classic choker length, so it should sit close to the base of the neck on most wearers.

Q: What materials and details define this piece?
A: This Chanel choker features gold-tone metal, faux pearls, crystal embellishments, star motifs and crystal CC logos. It is finished with a lobster clasp closure.

Q: Are the pearls real?
A: No, this design uses faux pearls. That is typical of Chanel costume jewellery and is part of the look and character of many vintage Chanel pieces.

Q: How does it fasten?
A: It closes with a lobster clasp, which makes it straightforward to put on and remove while helping keep the necklace secure when worn.

Q: What condition is it in?
A: The overall condition is Very Good, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: Is this a vintage piece?
A: Yes, this is listed as a vintage Chanel necklace, making it a distinctive choice for collectors and for anyone who loves archival Chanel styling.

Q: Does it come with any additional product information?
A: No, this item is sold without any additional product information included.

Q: How can I style this choker?
A: Its short 41 cm length works beautifully on its own with open necklines, strapless silhouettes, shirts or fine knitwear. It can also be layered with slightly longer chains or necklaces for a more styled look.

Q: How should I care for it?
A: To help preserve the finish, wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid water, perfume, lotions, sweat and harsh cleaning products, as these can affect the metal finish, faux pearls and crystals.

Q: Can I wear it every day?
A: It is best suited to careful wear rather than heavy daily use. As a vintage costume jewellery piece with faux pearls and crystal detailing, it will stay looking its best if handled gently and kept away from moisture and cosmetics.

Q: How is authenticity handled?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authenticated luxury vintage pieces, and this Chanel choker has been checked before listing.
