Q: What are the key features of the Chanel Small CC Funky Town Flap Bag?
A: This seasonal small flap showcases pink quilted lambskin, gold-tone hardware, a chunky chain-and-leather top handle, pink textile lining, a front flap with CC turn-lock, and one external slip pocket. It is made in France. Refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: How does it carry and can the strap be adjusted?
A: It is designed primarily for shoulder or hand carry via the chunky chain-and-leather handle. The strap is not adjustable or detachable. The strap drop is approximately 30 cm, giving a comfortable shoulder length for most wearers.

Q: What typically fits inside given the size?
A: With approximate dimensions of 17 × 12 × 4 cm, it is ideal for small essentials such as a cardholder, compact wallet, keys, lipstick, and a slim hand sanitiser. Larger smartphones may be a tight fit depending on case thickness; please compare your device to the listed measurements for certainty.

Q: Is this a single or double flap?
A: The Funky Town is a single-flap design, offering straightforward access and a lighter feel compared with the double-flap Classic Flap.

Q: Which collection is the Funky Town from?
A: The Funky Town style was introduced as a seasonal design around the Spring–Summer 2022 collections under Virginie Viard, recognised for its oversized chunky chain detailing. Availability and exact colourways vary by season and boutique.

Q: Does this bag come with an authenticity card?
A: From 2021 onwards, Chanel transitioned to an embedded microchip and interior metal plate instead of authenticity cards. Please check the product information section to see everything included with this specific item.

Q: How should I care for pink lambskin and gold-tone hardware?
A: Keep the bag away from moisture and prolonged direct sunlight; avoid contact with dark denim or abrasive fabrics to minimise colour transfer. Store it in a breathable dust bag, lightly stuffed to maintain shape, and place a soft cloth between the chain and leather to prevent impressions. Wipe hardware with a clean, dry cloth only.

Q: Is there an exterior pocket and what is it useful for?
A: Yes, there is an external slip pocket that suits slim items such as travel cards or receipts you need quick access to. Avoid overfilling to preserve the silhouette.

Q: Can it be worn crossbody?
A: The strap drop is typically shoulder length rather than crossbody. Some may wear it high crossbody depending on build and preference, but it is not designed for a long crossbody carry.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this bag?
A: Every item is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts through multi‑point checks of materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, codes, and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide further details on request.
