Q: How long is this necklace and where will it sit when worn?
A: The listed necklace perimeter is 64 cm. On most wearers, that reads as a long necklace and typically falls around the upper to mid chest, though the exact drop will vary with neck size and styling preference.

Q: What are the key design details of this piece?
A: This Christian Dior necklace features silver-tone metal, a double chain design, a cut-out Dior logo pendant and a lobster clasp closure. The double chain gives it a layered look while still wearing as one piece.

Q: Is this solid silver or silver-tone fashion jewellery?
A: This piece is described as silver-tone metal, so it should be considered fashion jewellery rather than solid sterling silver.

Q: Can this necklace be layered with other pieces?
A: Yes. Its long 64 cm length and double chain design make it easy to wear on its own or layer with shorter chains for more dimension. Using clearly different lengths usually gives the neatest result.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle previous wear on a vintage piece.

Q: How should I care for vintage Dior silver-tone jewellery?
A: To help preserve the finish, keep it away from water, perfume, lotion and hairspray, and wipe it gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store it separately in a dry place to minimise scratches and tangling.

Q: Is this suitable for everyday wear?
A: It can be worn regularly, but as a vintage piece it is best treated with a little extra care. Avoid sleeping, showering, swimming or exercising in it, and fasten the clasp gently to help protect the chains and finish.

Q: Does this necklace come with original box, dust bag or authenticity card?
A: No additional product information is listed with this piece. If any original packaging or documents are included, they will be stated in the product information on the page.

Q: How is a vintage Dior necklace authenticated?
A: Authenticity is usually assessed by checking the hallmark or signature, clasp and hardware quality, construction, finish and overall consistency with known Dior production. At A Retro Tale, each item is reviewed and authenticated before sale.
