Q: What does the cornicello pendant symbol mean?
A: The cornicello, also known as the Italian horn, is a traditional Italian charm associated with protection and good fortune. On this Dolce & Gabbana necklace, it also adds a distinctive vintage statement to the design.

Q: What size is this necklace?
A: The necklace has a perimeter of 44 cm. The pendant charm measures approximately 3.5 cm in width and 1 cm in depth. Please refer to the Measurements on this page to help judge how it will sit when worn.

Q: Is this necklace suitable for everyday wear or better for occasions?
A: This piece can work for both, depending on your styling. Its rhinestone cornicello pendant gives it a more eye-catching look, making it especially well suited to evening wear, parties, or adding a bold accent to a simple daytime outfit.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: This necklace is listed in good condition. It shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: Does this necklace come with a box, dust bag, or authenticity card?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories. If original packaging or additional items are important to you, the product information reflects exactly what is included with this piece.

Q: How should I care for a vintage rhinestone necklace like this?
A: We recommend handling it gently and avoiding water, perfume, hairspray, lotions, and harsh cleaning products. After wearing, wipe it carefully with a soft dry cloth and store it separately in a dry place to help protect the finish and rhinestones.

Q: Is the necklace adjustable?
A: The listed necklace perimeter is 44 cm. No extender or additional adjustable length is specified in the product information, so it is best to expect a fixed fit close to that measurement.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Dolce & Gabbana jewellery?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully checked for authenticity by specialists who assess brand markings, materials, construction, hardware, and overall consistency with the brand and era. We only sell items we believe to be authentic.

Q: Will the gold-tone finish show signs of age because it is vintage?
A: As with most vintage fashion jewellery, minor wear can develop over time. For this piece, the condition notes already mention light traces of use and light surface scratches to the hardware, which is typical for a pre-owned item in good condition.

Q: Is this a good gift option?
A: Yes, especially for someone who loves Italian symbolism, statement jewellery, or vintage designer pieces. The cornicello motif makes it a thoughtful and characterful choice, but please note that no accessories are included with the necklace.
