Q: What is the Louis Vuitton LV Eclipse Pearl Necklace made of?
A: This piece is crafted from gold‑tone brass with a circular pendant and a lustrous resin pearl featuring LV initials. It has an adjustable fine‑link chain and a lobster clasp closure.

Q: Is the pearl real or imitation?
A: The pearl on this design is a resin (imitation) pearl, chosen for a uniform lustre and durability in Louis Vuitton’s fashion jewellery collections.

Q: What is the length and can it be adjusted?
A: The chain on this item measures approximately 43 cm in perimeter and features extender links for a closer or slightly longer fit. If you need exact measurements, please contact us and we’ll re‑measure to confirm.

Q: Is this fine jewellery or fashion jewellery?
A: It is fashion jewellery. The metal is gold‑tone brass and the pearl is resin, so it is not solid gold and does not contain natural pearls.

Q: How should I care for the finish and pearl?
A: Apply fragrance, lotions and hair products before putting the necklace on and allow them to dry fully. After wear, wipe gently with a very soft, dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place, separate from other pieces to avoid scratches. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing pastes.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower, swimming or at the gym?
A: We do not recommend it. Remove the necklace before bathing, swimming or strenuous activity to protect the gold‑tone plating and keep the resin pearl and chain in their best condition.

Q: Will the gold‑tone finish tarnish over time?
A: Like most plated brass jewellery, the finish can dull or show wear with exposure to moisture, sweat and cosmetics. Careful handling, avoiding chemicals, and storing it dry will help preserve the shine for longer.

Q: Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Louis Vuitton fashion jewellery is made from brass with a gold‑tone finish and may not be suitable for those with sensitivities to base‑metal alloys. If you have known metal allergies, consider limiting direct contact or consulting a specialist.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information section. For this piece, no additional items are listed. If you have any questions, please ask and we’ll confirm what is included.

Q: What is the condition of this pre‑owned necklace?
A: Very Good condition with light signs of use. The hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, consistent with gentle wear.

Q: How do you authenticate this necklace?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously examined by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, finishing, markings and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide further details on request.
