Q: Is this Louis Vuitton V Rhinestone Bracelet authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What is it made from? Is it solid gold and are the stones diamonds?
A: Louis Vuitton fashion jewellery is typically crafted from plated base metal (often brass). This bracelet features silver‑tone hardware with a gold‑tone V emblem and rhinestone embellishments. It is not solid gold unless explicitly stated, and the stones are not diamonds. Please review the close‑up photos and contact us if you’d like us to confirm the specific composition of this piece.

Q: What size is it and will it fit my wrist?
A: It fits an 18.5 cm wrist or smaller. The listed bracelet width is approximately 1.3 cm. If you’d like the precise wearable range (minimum–maximum circumference) or decorative element dimensions, message us and we’ll measure them for you.

Q: How does it fasten and is it adjustable?
A: It secures with a lobster clasp on a link chain. You can typically clasp onto different links to fine‑tune the fit within its wearable range. Please refer to the images for the exact closure or contact us for confirmation.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect on a Louis Vuitton bracelet?
A: LV bracelets commonly feature the LV logo or “LOUIS VUITTON” signature and may include a country of origin such as “Made in France/Italy,” sometimes with a season code. Placement and format vary by collection and era. Our listing photos show any stamps present on this piece; the country of origin is France.

Q: How should I care for the plated finish and rhinestones?
A: Keep the bracelet dry and away from perfume, lotions, hairspray and hand sanitiser. After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth; use a dry cotton bud around stone settings. Do not soak, use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical dips. Store it individually in a pouch/box, away from humidity and direct sunlight, to preserve colour and sparkle.

Q: Is it nickel‑free and suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Vintage and fashion jewellery may contain nickel. If you have sensitivities, consider applying a clear barrier product on contact points or wearing it for shorter periods. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and contact us for guidance.

Q: Can I wear it in water or for everyday stacking with other bracelets?
A: We recommend keeping it dry—remove it before washing hands, showering or swimming. Moisture can dull rhinestones and accelerate plating wear. Stacking with other bracelets may cause abrasion; rotate wear and store carefully to help preserve the finish.

Q: Can it be resized, repaired or replated?
A: A jeweller can often add a short extender, adjust the clasp, re‑set rhinestones or perform gentle replating. Louis Vuitton service for fashion jewellery is at their discretion and may vary by boutique. We don’t offer in‑house modifications, but we can recommend reputable specialists on request; note that alterations can affect originality and resale value.

Q: What condition should I expect, what is included, and can I return it?
A: This bracelet is in Very Good Condition with light, normal wear possible unless stated otherwise. Only accessories specifically shown or listed are included; this listing includes a box. Returns are accepted under our standard policy—please see our Returns page for eligibility, timeframes and conditions, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
