Q: What size is this Rolex Datejust and how does it wear?
A: This watch has a 31 mm case, which is considered a midsize Datejust. It offers a classic vintage look and usually suits smaller wrists or anyone who prefers more understated proportions. This particular watch fits a wrist of 16.5 cm or smaller; a larger wrist may require extra bracelet links.

Q: What materials and design details does this watch have?
A: This Ref. 6867 combines stainless steel and yellow gold, with a fluted bezel, champagne dial, date display and Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp. These are hallmark Datejust details that give it a polished yet versatile look.

Q: Is 31 mm only suitable for women?
A: No. A 31 mm Datejust is often described as a midsize option and can suit anyone who prefers vintage proportions or has a smaller wrist. Fit is mainly about personal style and wrist size rather than gender alone.

Q: What condition is this particular watch in?
A: It is described as being in very good condition overall, with light traces of use. The internal condition is very good, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful wear and age.

Q: Does this watch come with box, papers or other product information?
A: No additional product information is included with this watch. That is not unusual for vintage Rolex pieces. Original box and papers can add collector appeal, but authenticity is determined by the watch itself rather than packaging alone.

Q: Is a vintage Datejust practical for everyday wear?
A: Yes, the Datejust is known for being one of Rolex’s most versatile designs, working well with both smart and casual outfits. As this is a 1976 vintage watch, it is best enjoyed with a little more care than a modern everyday watch.

Q: How should I care for a vintage two-tone Rolex Datejust?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft cloth after wear, and clean the case and bracelet carefully with mild soapy water and a soft brush when needed. Always make sure the crown is fully screwed down before cleaning. Because it is a vintage watch, avoid swimming or prolonged water exposure unless it has been recently pressure-tested by a qualified watchmaker.

Q: Should I expect some looseness in a vintage Jubilee bracelet?
A: Some play can be normal on older Jubilee bracelets because vintage link construction wears over time. Light movement is common and not necessarily a problem, but heavy stretch can affect comfort, appearance and value.

Q: What does Ref. 6867 and the year 1976 tell me?
A: The reference number identifies the model family and configuration, while 1976 places this piece firmly in the vintage Rolex era. For many buyers, that appeal lies in the older proportions, classic styling and the character that develops over decades of wear.
