Q: What are the dimensions and fabric of this scarf?
A: It is a square scarf measuring approximately 80 × 80 cm and crafted in 100% silk with a multicolour geometric print and Yves Saint Laurent logo detail.

Q: How can I style an 80 cm square silk scarf?
A: This size works well as a neckerchief (folded into a triangle and tied at the front or side), a head bandana, a ponytail tie or hair ribbon, around the wrist, or knotted to a bag handle for a pop of colour.

Q: Is 80 cm suitable to wear as a headscarf?
A: Yes, 80 × 80 cm is suitable for most bandana and classic headscarf wraps. If you want fuller coverage or larger knots, a 90 × 90 cm square offers more volume, but 80 cm is versatile for everyday styles.

Q: How should I clean and care for a silk scarf?
A: Always follow the care label if present. For vintage silk or when unsure, professional dry cleaning is the safest option. If hand washing, use cool water with a silk-friendly detergent, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, dry flat away from direct sunlight, and steam on low from the reverse side.

Q: How should I store the scarf to keep it in great condition?
A: Store flat or loosely rolled in a breathable pouch or drawer, away from moisture and direct light. Avoid clips or pins that can leave impressions, and ensure the scarf is clean before storage to discourage moths.

Q: What are typical authenticity cues on a vintage Saint Laurent scarf?
A: Look for hand-rolled, finely hand-stitched edges, a crisp and well-registered print, and a clean Yves Saint Laurent signature or logo placement. Pattern alignment should be neat, and the silk should feel supple and high quality.
