Q: What is the Tiffany & Co. HardWear Small Wrap Bracelet made from?
A: Solid sterling silver (.925) crafted in the collection’s signature gauge links with a wrap design and an integrated clasp, finished with the iconic padlock and ball details.

Q: What wrist size does this bracelet fit?
A: This specific piece fits a 17 cm wrist or smaller, giving the close, contoured look the HardWear line is known for. If you’re between sizes, measure your wrist snugly and allow around 1–1.5 cm for comfort.

Q: Is the size adjustable or can it be resized?
A: The bracelet is not adjustable like a strap. Any change to length would require a professional alteration; some designs may allow only minimal variation depending on where the clasp engages the links. We recommend choosing based on your wrist measurement and wearing as is.

Q: How secure is the clasp and how do I fasten it?
A: The clasp is integrated into a link for a streamlined look. Align the closing link, press until it clicks, and give a gentle tug to confirm closure. As with any fine jewellery, periodic checks by a professional are advisable.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish and how should I clean it?
A: Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time. Regular wear helps slow tarnish. Clean with a soft silver-polishing cloth; for a deeper clean use mild soap in warm water, rinse well, and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cloths.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower, pool, or at the gym?
A: Brief contact with fresh water is not harmful, but chlorinated pools, hot tubs, salt water, perfumes, lotions, and sweat can accelerate tarnish and dull the finish. Remove the bracelet before swimming, bathing, or strenuous workouts.

Q: Are the padlock and ball intended to be removable?
A: Design details can vary by production run. On many HardWear wrap bracelets these elements are attached near the clasp and are not meant for frequent removal. This piece will be delivered exactly as shown in the photos—contact us if you want specific attachment information.

Q: Is it suitable for everyday wear and stacking?
A: Yes. The HardWear chain is designed for daily wear with a modern, substantial feel. It stacks well with bangles or slimmer chains. To minimise scratches, store it separately in a soft pouch when not in use.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect on authentic Tiffany sterling silver?
A: Authentic pieces typically carry marks such as T&CO and 925 indicating sterling silver. Hallmark style and placement can vary by country of origin and production year, so small differences are normal.

Q: What accessories are included and how is authenticity ensured?
A: This listing is delivered with no accessories unless otherwise noted. Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully authenticated by our in‑house experts through multi‑point checks of materials, stamps, construction and wear patterns; we stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
