Q: What are the dimensions and how does it sit when worn?
A: The ribbon bow pendant is approximately 2 cm high by 2.5 cm wide. The chain length for this piece is about 47.5 cm, which generally sits around the collarbone on many wearers. For exact details, please refer to the Measurements shown on this page.

Q: What is it made of?
A: It is crafted in sterling silver (92.5% pure silver). Tiffany is known for using the .925 sterling silver standard across its silver jewellery.

Q: Will sterling silver tarnish and how should I care for it?
A: Yes, silver naturally tarnishes over time, especially with exposure to salt air, chlorine and household chemicals like bleach. Clean gently with a soft cloth and a quality silver polish, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Store it dry in a pouch or lined box and avoid rubber and high humidity. Regular wear actually helps minimise tarnish.

Q: Can the necklace length be adjusted?
A: Tiffany offers cleaning, repair and fit alterations for many pieces, and some chains can be shortened by a professional. If you prefer extra length, a sterling silver extender can add a little drop. Availability of alterations depends on the specific chain design.

Q: What stamps should I expect on a Tiffany silver necklace?
A: Authentic Tiffany silver pieces typically carry “Tiffany & Co.” and a metal purity mark such as “925”. Stamp formats can vary by era and design, so stamping alone is not definitive proof of authenticity; overall craftsmanship and materials matter too.

Q: Does this come with Tiffany packaging or an authenticity card?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information section. If a Tiffany box or pouch isn’t listed there, it is not included. Tiffany does not issue authenticity cards and does not run a public authentication programme.

Q: Is it suitable for daily wear and can I get it wet?
A: It’s a great everyday piece. We recommend removing it before swimming, bathing, or using chlorinated or bleach-based products, as these accelerate tarnish. Wipe after wear to remove skin oils and store it dry.

Q: What clasp does it have?
A: This necklace features a spring ring clasp attached to a fine link chain for secure fastening.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage piece?
A: Very Good vintage condition with a bright finish and light surface scratches consistent with gentle wear. Please review the photos and product information for full condition notes.
