Christian DiorMontaigne Earrings

Q: What size are these earrings?
A: These earrings measure approximately 3 cm high by 3 cm wide, with a depth of around 0.3 cm. That makes them a medium hoop style that feels noticeable without being oversized.

Q: Are these earrings for pierced ears?
A: Yes. This pair has a push-back closure, so it is designed for pierced ears rather than clip-on wear.

Q: What are they made from?
A: According to the product information, they are crafted in gold-tone metal with a CD logo hoop design. They offer the look of gold jewellery, but they are not described as solid gold.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: They are listed in very good vintage condition. The hardware remains shiny and shows light scratches, which is consistent with gentle previous wear.

Q: Are they likely to feel heavy?
A: With a 3 cm hoop format, they should read as a noticeable yet wearable statement earring. Comfort can vary from person to person, especially if you are sensitive to larger earrings.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This pair is sold without any additional items. Everything included with the purchase is reflected in the product information.

Q: How should I care for vintage Dior earrings?
A: Wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear and store them separately in a dry place. To help preserve the finish, avoid water, perfume, lotions, hairspray and prolonged humidity.

Q: Are these suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, they can work well for day-to-day styling as well as evenings out. As a vintage piece, it is best to avoid wearing them while sleeping, showering or exercising.

Q: Are these suitable for sensitive ears?
A: This depends on your personal metal sensitivities. The product information lists gold-tone metal, but it does not specify hypoallergenic materials, so anyone with very sensitive ears should use caution.

Q: How do you authenticate Dior jewellery?
A: Dior jewellery is typically checked through hallmarks, logo placement, metal finish, construction quality and overall consistency with the style. At A Retro Tale, every item is professionally authenticated before sale.
