Q: What length is this necklace, and where is it likely to sit when worn?
A: The necklace has an approximate perimeter of 37 cm, so it is a short style that will usually sit close to the base of the neck or around the collarbone area. As fit can vary slightly from person to person, we recommend comparing the measurement with a necklace you already own.

Q: What are the key design details of this Chanel Clover Chain Necklace?
A: This vintage piece features silver-tone hardware, a chain interwoven with red leather and multicolour fabric, a clover pendant with a CC logo charm, and a lobster clasp closure. It is labelled as made in France.

Q: Is the metal solid silver?
A: No. Silver-tone describes the look and finish of the hardware rather than solid silver content. Unless a precious metal is specifically stated, this piece should be regarded as fashion jewellery.

Q: Is the necklace adjustable?
A: A lobster clasp closure is present, but no extender chain is listed for this piece. The best guide for fit is the stated 37 cm perimeter.

Q: What condition is the necklace in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition, with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny and shows light surface scratches, which is typical for a pre-owned vintage piece.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: No additional items are included with this piece. Please refer to the product information for the full included-item overview.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel fashion jewellery like this?
A: It is best to apply perfume and makeup before putting it on, and to avoid water, humidity, heat, harsh chemicals, and prolonged direct sunlight. After wear, gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it separately to help prevent scratches and protect the leather and fabric-woven chain.

Q: Can I wear this necklace every day?
A: It is better suited to careful occasional wear than hard daily wear. Vintage Chanel fashion jewellery can show finish wear over time, especially if frequently exposed to moisture, fragrance, friction, or cosmetics.

Q: How can vintage Chanel jewellery be authenticated?
A: Hallmarks and signature plaques can be helpful, but they should never be the only point checked. Vintage Chanel marks vary by era, and overall authenticity is judged by the full piece, including construction, materials, finish, clasp details, weight, and workmanship.
