Q: Can this watch be worn in water?
A: With vintage and pre-owned luxury watches, it is safest to avoid water unless the watch has been freshly pressure-tested by a qualified watchmaker. For everyday peace of mind, treat it as a delicate dress watch and keep it away from swimming, showering, and prolonged moisture exposure.

Q: How should I care for a pre-owned Chanel quartz watch like this?
A: Store it in a dry place, wipe it gently with a soft cloth, and avoid perfume, cosmetics, harsh chemicals, shocks, and unnecessary contact with hard surfaces. As it is a gold and diamond watch, careful wear will help preserve both the finish and the overall condition.

Q: When does a quartz Chanel watch need servicing?
A: Quartz watches still benefit from periodic servicing, and battery changes should be handled professionally. If the battery runs down or the watch shows signs of reduced performance, it is best to have it checked promptly so the movement and seals can be inspected at the same time.

Q: How can I be confident in the authenticity of this watch?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is carefully vetted for authenticity by in-house experts. For pre-owned luxury watches, key checks typically include reference details, construction, finishing, materials, hallmarks, movement type, and overall consistency with the model.
