Q: What movement does the CHANEL Première Chaîne (ref. H7022) use?
A: It features a high‑precision Swiss quartz movement for dependable, low‑maintenance timekeeping.

Q: Is this watch water resistant and can I swim with it?
A: It is rated to 30 metres. This is suitable for everyday splashes and light rain, but we recommend avoiding showering, swimming or submersion. If it gets wet, dry it promptly and never operate the crown when damp.

Q: Can the chain bracelet be resized?
A: Yes. The bracelet can be shortened by removing links, but this should be done by a professional to protect the interwoven leather. Changing the length may require re‑weaving or replacing the leather strand, which a specialist or CHANEL service can handle.

Q: What wrist size does this piece fit as listed?
A: As noted in our product information, the current bracelet fits a wrist up to approximately 16 cm. Further reduction is usually possible by link removal. Adding length depends on sourcing compatible links and may not always be possible for pre‑owned pieces.

Q: What materials and design details define this model?
A: A steel octagonal case with a black lacquered dial, an onyx cabochon crown, and a steel chain bracelet interlaced with black leather, secured by a jewellery clasp. Crafted in Switzerland.

Q: What crystal does it use?
A: This reference is commonly fitted with a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal for durable daily wear.

Q: How should I care for the leather‑interlaced bracelet and case?
A: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Keep away from moisture, perfumes, oils and prolonged direct sunlight. Store in its box or a soft pouch. Leather elements naturally age; periodic replacement of leather/bracelet components may be recommended based on wear.

Q: How long does the battery last and when should it be replaced?
A: Typical battery life is about 2 to 7 years depending on use. If a quartz watch stops, replace the battery within 3 months to avoid leakage. Always have battery changes and water‑resistance checks performed by a qualified watchmaker or CHANEL service.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: Everything included is listed under the product information section for this listing. For this piece, the box is included; if an item is not listed there, it is not included—feel free to contact us for confirmation.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate this watch?
A: Every piece is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, finish, movement, engravings and reference numbers. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell and can provide additional details on request.
