Q: Are these Miu Miu Daisy Rhinestone Drop Clip‑on Earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What are they made of? Are the stones real diamonds and is the metal solid silver?
A: Miu Miu fashion jewellery typically uses plated base metal (often brass or an alloy) in a silver‑tone finish with glass rhinestones/crystals. The stones are not diamonds and the metal is not solid sterling silver unless explicitly stated. Please review the close‑up photos and contact us if you’d like us to confirm the specific composition for this pair.

Q: Are they for pierced ears or clip‑on, and how do they fasten?
A: This pair is clip‑on. They secure with a hinged clip mechanism on the back of the floral stud. If you’d like us to confirm the exact clip style or provide a comfort pad recommendation, just message us.

Q: What size and weight are they? Will they feel heavy?
A: The approximate dimensions are 5.5 cm in height (drop), 3 cm in width and about 1.5 cm in profile depth. If you need the gram weight for comfort reference, contact us and we’ll measure it. Clip‑on comfort can be improved with silicone pads; sensitivity to weight varies by wearer.

Q: What hallmarks or stamps should I expect on Miu Miu earrings?
A: Miu Miu jewellery commonly features a MIU MIU signature stamp, sometimes with “Made in Italy” depending on the season. Placement varies (e.g., on the reverse of the stud or the clip). Our listing photos show any markings present on this pair.

Q: How should I care for the rhinestones and silver‑tone plating?
A: Keep them dry and away from perfume, hairspray, lotions and hand sanitiser. After wear, gently wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth; use a dry cotton bud around stone settings. Do not soak, use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical dips, and avoid alcohol‑based products. Store individually in a pouch, out of direct sunlight and humidity, to help preserve sparkle and colour.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears? Are they nickel‑free?
A: Fashion jewellery alloys and plating can contain nickel. If you have sensitivities, consider using hypoallergenic barrier discs or clear barrier products on contact points, and wear for shorter periods. Discontinue use if irritation occurs and contact us for guidance.

Q: Will the plating or stones show wear over time?
A: Plated finishes can show light surface wear or micro‑scratches at high‑contact points, and rhinestones may dull if exposed to moisture or cosmetics. Proper care—keeping them dry, wiping after wear and storing carefully—helps prolong their appearance. Any notable wear is disclosed in our condition notes and photos (this pair is in Like New Condition).

Q: Can clip tension be adjusted or can they be converted to pierced posts?
A: A jeweller can often adjust clip tension, replace comfort pads, and securely re‑set or replace rhinestones if needed. Conversion to posts may be possible depending on construction but can alter the design, impact originality and affect resale value. We don’t perform in‑house modifications; contact us for reputable specialists.

Q: What is included and can I return them?
A: Only accessories specifically shown or listed are included (this listing states no accessories). Earrings are eligible for return under our standard policy provided they are unworn, any hygiene seals (if applied) remain intact, and they are returned in the same condition received. Please see our Returns page for full details.
