Q: Are these Versace Medusa Rhinestone Earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What materials are they made from? Are they real gold?
A: These earrings are crafted from gold‑tone metal with rhinestone embellishments. Vintage Versace fashion jewellery is typically made from plated base metal rather than solid gold. Please review the close‑up photos to appreciate the finish and rhinestone details.

Q: How do they fasten? Are they suitable for pierced ears?
A: They feature a clip‑on fastening, making them suitable for both pierced and non‑pierced ears. The mechanism is designed to sit securely on the lobe; if you have specific concerns about tension or comfort, please contact us for more details.

Q: What are the measurements and how will they look when worn?
A: The earrings measure approximately 2 cm (height) x 2 cm (width) x 0.7 cm (depth). The Medusa motif combined with the rhinestone surround creates a bold, classic vintage look that sits neatly on the earlobe.

Q: What hallmarks should I expect?
A: Authentic vintage Versace earrings typically bear the “Gianni Versace” or “Versace” signature and “Made in Italy” stamped on the reverse. Our listing photos show the specific hallmarks present on this pair.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
A: Vintage fashion jewellery alloys and platings may contain nickel. If you have metal sensitivities, we recommend monitoring comfort or using a clear barrier product on the clip mechanism. Discontinue wear if irritation occurs.

Q: How should I care for the rhinestones and gold‑tone finish?
A: Keep the earrings dry and avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, and lotions, as moisture can damage the rhinestone backing and dull the plating. Clean gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Do not soak or use ultrasonic cleaners.

Q: What condition should I expect?
A: These earrings are in Very Good Condition (Condition Grade 353326), meaning they may show light signs of wear consistent with their vintage nature. Please view the images closely for any specific wear points.

Q: What is included with the earrings?
A: This listing includes no accessories. They will be securely packaged by A Retro Tale for delivery.
