Q: What is the chain length and how will it sit when worn?
A: The total length is approximately 43 cm and it can be fastened on a nearer link to wear slightly shorter. On most necklines this sits around the collarbone (between a classic 16 in choker and 18 in princess length).

Q: Is this necklace solid gold?
A: No. Chanel fashion jewellery is typically crafted in gold‑tone or gold‑plated base metal with glass crystals rather than solid precious metals, unless specifically noted as fine jewellery. This piece is gold‑tone with rhinestones.

Q: How should I care for the gold‑tone finish and rhinestones?
A: Handle with care, put it on after perfume, hairspray and lotions, and avoid contact with water, alcohol or cleaning solvents. After wear, gently wipe with a soft dry cloth and store individually in a dry place to minimise scratches and tarnish.

Q: Can I wear it in the shower or pool?
A: We do not recommend exposing Chanel costume jewellery to water, steam, chlorine or high humidity, as this can dull rhinestones and accelerate tarnish.

Q: Are the stones intact and secure?
A: Yes. Our inspection notes confirm all stones are intact. As with all vintage pieces, please wear with care and avoid knocks to the settings.

Q: What items are included with this listing?
A: Everything included is listed in the product information on this page. For this item, no additional items are included unless explicitly stated there.

Q: How do you authenticate Chanel jewellery and can you confirm the stamp?
A: Every piece at A Retro Tale is vetted by in‑house experts using multi‑point checks of materials, construction, hardware, and signature stamps or plaques. Many Chanel pieces carry signatures that can indicate season or era; we can share close‑up photos on request.

Q: Is the length adjustable or can I make it longer?
A: You can wear it slightly shorter by clasping to a nearer link. To wear longer, a removable necklace extender can be used; we do not modify vintage pieces.

Q: What are the pendant details and closure type?
A: It features a double heart pendant with interlocking CC logos and rhinestones, approximately 1.2 cm wide and 0.3 cm deep, and secures with a lobster clasp. The country of origin label is France.
